Present situation and trend prediction of geological hazards of North Binhai Station on Tianjin-Qinhuangdao passenger dedicated line

    • North Binhai station is a crucial transportation junction of Tianjin-Qinhuangdao Passenger Dedicated Line. This paper, based on the analysis of North Binhai Station geological condition and existing geological disaster monitoring data, first analyzes the station's present geological disaster situation including land subsidence, saturated silts/sands liquefaction and water and soil corrosion. Then the paper gives a predictive analysis of above geological disaster situation through second-order polynomial regression model analyses, standard penetration test and sampling respectively. And the result indicates that in the next five years,if the current situation remains, land subsidence will slow down, saturated silts/sands liquefaction grade will be light liquefaction to middle liquefaction and shallow groundwater and soil corrosion will be moderately corrosive.By the analysis and projection above, this paper intends to provide useful information for the geological disasters prevention and safe railway operation.
