Geological hazards easy-happening zoning evaluation of Yixing city by applying GIS

The geological environment condition of Yixing city is very complicated,human engineering activities is intensive,the geological hazard is easy-happen and damage is serious.The paper analyzed the distribution situation,forming condition and influencing factors of geological hazard,chosen the evaluation factors,based on mesh division,adopted weighted index model,calculated the each mesh's easy-happening index of landslide and collapse,karst ground collapse,mining ground collapse,then superposed the three coverage by using the spatial analysis function of MAPGIS,obtained the dividing zone of easy-happening degree comprehensive degree in Yixing city,divided into the high,medium,low easy-happening area and non easy-happening area,provided the scientific basis for the geological hazard prevention and administration.
