Analysis of deformation and destroy of Shangyu-Sanmen highway K270+700 slope

Shangyu-Sanmen highway in Zhejiang provence is the key transportation junction connecting the central region and the economic circle in southeast coast.However,a maintenance personnel of administrative office found out the apparent deformation at the pile of k270+700 on October 26th 2011.Based on the field investigation and analysis,this paper makes a systematic study on the slope deformation.The studies show that the failure mode is wedge slip fracture along the line of intersection by two control discontinuities.Therefore,comprehensive support method combined with temporal and permanent control measures are proposed according to the slope failure mode and current situation.
