Abstract:
Geological disaster risk zoning is one of the effective methods of geological disaster risk management and prevention, and is of great significance for scientific prediction of geological disasters. Based on the natural disaster risk theory, starting with the hazards of disaster, the exposure and vulnerability of disaster-bearing bodies, and the ability to prevent and mitigate disasters (resilience), indicators were selected and a geological disaster risk evaluation model was constructed. The model was applied in disaster risk zoning of Jilin Province. The application of the model showed that the evaluation results were reasonable and consistent with the field survey, which can provide a basis for planning and geological disaster prevention.
