Abstract: Geological disasters have the characteristics of large number,vast area,large-scale,formation of disasters in a short time,outbreaks of high frequency,continuing a long time,and so on.By analyzing the time and spatial distribution characteristics of geological disasters in the Longquan mountain,this paper presents the main factors and predisposing factors of the geological disasters in this region.combined the field investigation,the specific control measures is presented and a reference for how to effectively avoid or reduce the losses caused by disaster is provided.
